SelfishMeFirstARE YOU A SELFISH PLAYER OR A TEAM PLAYER?

Proverbs 14:14 – “The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.”

6. A team player realizes that he has his particular role on the team because he knows:

a. That the coach knows best. This takes trust.

b. That his role is the role he has earned and deserves.

c. That buying in and giving himself to fulfilling that role is what is best for the team.

A selfish player assumes that he has the particular role that he has because he:

a. Thinks the coach doesn’t know what he’s doing.

b. Thinks the coach isn’t fair.

c. Hasn’t even thought of the team at all, not to mention, thinking what might be best for the team.
